About

Craig Joseph is a physician, board-certified pediatrician, and clinical informaticist. He is the Chief Medical Officer of Nordic Global. Earlier in his career he served as chief medical information officer (CMIO) at health systems running the Epic and Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) electronic health record platforms, where his work centered on making clinical software usable for the people who depend on it.

He is a co-author of the book "Designing for Health: The Human-Centered Approach," which argues that healthcare technology should be built around human-centered design principles rather than forcing clinicians to adapt to the software. He also hosts the "Designing for Health" podcast, where he speaks with people working at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and design.
